Having produced a catalog of over 500 full length songs & tracks, and completing more than 22 video & short motion picture projects since its inception, akiey5media is the unit responsible for entertainment, infortainment and edutainment. We do in-house production of mass media-related projects for a growing list of our musician & media clients, for varied multimedia needs and for the general public.
Music Production
We produce original music for Rap/HipHop, R&B, Soul, Reggae, Dancehall, Salsa, Jazz, AfroBeat, Rock, and video/movie soundtracks . We work on songs and tracks for music albums and CDs, mixtapes, compilation albums, video soundtracks, short movie scores and soundtracks, websites and related online applications.

To date, we have produced original tracks featuring vocal talent from multitalented artists like RhapsodE (acclaimned R&B/Soul & Spoken Word artist), G.No (based in France, is the originator of "Latin & Blues"), Legacy (a real "triple threat" as a producer, lyricist and singer of R&B/Soul/HipHop/Alternative), Desdamona (Respected MC & Spoken Word Poet, a 5-time winner of the Minnesota Music Award for Best Spoken Word), Ms. Kirsten (based in Denmark, a soulful singer-songwriter with immense vocal and lyrical skills), Lizz Fields (R&B/Soul singer with mind blowing vocals and harmonies) and Black James Bond (French-based rapper-poet). We have also provided audio drops for Podcasts produced by Beneathdasurface (Maryland-based e-zine producing podcasts & articles on different MCs & singers from around the world)
- The 15 songs produced for AmeriKenya Gangster, our reprise album inspired by Jay-Z's American Gangster album are among our most well-received productions.
Luminaries like Pres. Barack Obama, Dr.Martin Luther King, Malcolm X and Anwar Saadat are among our most cherished public figures whose landmark vocals & speeches we have immortalized in our original musical productions.
Major label artists such as Angelique Kidjo, Eminem, Nas, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, R.Kelly, Damian Marley, Mary J Blige, Sean Paul, The Fugees, Obie Trice, Shaggy, Lil Wayne, Akon, Beyonce, MC Solaar, Jodeci, Brick & Lace, B2K, Simpleton, The Clipse, Kardinal Offishal, Ludacris, and many, many more are featured on original productions on mixtapes, compilation projects and blend allbums.

Video, TV & Film Production
At akiey5media we provide on-contract cutting-edge video production, editing, foreign language subtitling and time coding, and foreign language translation of video and movie scripts for clients ranging from corporations like Voice of America, National Geographic Television, Public Broadcasting Station's Bill Moyer's Journal, research institutes, medium and small media outlets as well as individual video enthusiasts and for indepedent media producers like Dj Vlad.
Recently worked with a creative team as Executive Producer of the award-winning movie, Oscar & Jim written & produced by Iain Weatherby. The movie won 1st Prize in the Short Film category at the Rhode Island International Film Festival in August, 2009.
- Currently editing and post-producing a new international movie from our partners in Tanzania and Oklahoma. Due for release in late 2011, detalis about the project will be issued in due course.
Depending on project specifications and individual needs we shoot, edit, produce and work on video footage for documentaries, commercials, music videos, movies, movie trailers, Tv series, news articles and for social and private functions at industry quality and reasonable rates.

Movie Translation & Subtitling: We transcribe, translate and subtitle video and movies into French, English, Swahili, Italian and Arabic for different-size clients and needs.
